Vocabulary: Students will identify and name 10 basic colors and use them to describe objects (e.g., a red apple, a blue bag). They’ll expand their vocabulary to include everyday items and color adjectives.
Grammar: Students will learn and practice using the articles “a,” “an,” and “the” correctly. They’ll use “there is / there are” to describe what they see and apply prepositions of place (on, in, under, next to) in short, clear sentences.
Speaking: Learners will practice describing objects and their colors in pairs and small groups. They’ll ask and answer simple questions such as “What color is it?” and “Where is the book?” to build fluency and confidence.
Listening: Students will listen to short dialogues to identify colors and objects mentioned. They’ll repeat key phrases to improve pronunciation and rhythm, recognizing familiar color and position expressions in context.
Homework: Homework activities will help students review colors and sentence patterns. Tasks include matching colors and objects, labeling pictures, and writing short sentences using "there is / there are" and prepositions of place.
