このレッスンでは、生徒たちは瞑想やリラクゼーションのテクニックについて話し合います。レッスンには、朝の瞑想ルーティンに関する動画が含まれています。生徒たちは「up」や「down」の前置詞を使ったテーマ別フレーズや定型表現を練習します。また、トピックに関連する新しい語彙やイディオムを学び、練習します。このレッスンには、活発なディスカッションや、大人にも若者にも魅力的な実用的なワークシートが豊富に含まれています。

I think it is important to meditate because it really allows you to center yourself. And one of the reasons why I really like to meditate first thing in the morning, and to just visualize, is because as soon as you pick up your phone, if that's the first thing you do every day, you just end up going down a rabbit hole of oh, the news and the social media. And you see all these things, and it affects you, and it will affect your entire day. But if you wake up, and you say, I'm going to spend five, at least five minutes, and I'm going to spend time telling myself positive words of affirmation, imagining that I'm going to have the best day ever, or I'm going to win the art contest, or just imagining those great, wonderful things happening. And imagining like if you have a friend who, you know, wasn't feeling good, imagining your friend feeling better. And just you wish great things for yourself, but you wish great things for other people. And I think that is a really great way to start your day.
