I experience issues with interactive worksheets on my Mac and other iOS devices. What can I do?

PDF viewer apps on iOS, including Adobe's own app, do not support the complete range of interactive features that PDFs are capable of. On a Mac, the interactive features can be accessed using Acrobat or Adobe Reader, but not with the built-in Preview app on macOS. In order to access these features on a Mac, you will need to use Adobe Reader, which is available for free on all supported platforms. You can download it from the following link: https://get.adobe.com/reader Please make it a default viewer after you download it.

Why can't I access a resource that was previously available to me for free?
To fund the site's growth, most of the content is available for members with active subscriptions. Some content might be free for a limited time.

I’ve forgotten my password. What can I do?
You can reset your password by clicking the “Forgot your password?” link on the Log in page. You will receive an email with a link to set a new password. If you are still having problems, write to support@amerilingua.com or send us a request through our contact form page.

I have a new email account. How can I change my email address?
To update your email address, write to support@amerilingua.com or send us a request through our contact form page.

Will my email address be added to any mailing lists when I sign up?
Your email address will only be added to our newsletter mailing list. Newsletters will contain links to our newly-published lessons. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by going to “My Panel” and unsubscribe in the Newsletter section. You may also unsubscribe from our mailing list by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email you receive.

Questions about payments

How much is a subscription and how do I purchase one?

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept common credit and debits cards including Visa, MasterCard and Maestro. We also accept payments via PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

How secure is the payment process?
Your debit card or credit card details will be transacted upon secure third party sites of approved payment gateways such as Braintree or PayPal, which are digitally under encryption, thereby providing the highest possible degree of care. Your credit card or debit card information such as CVS code will never be stored with the Amerilingua website.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscription Plans are subject to automatic re-billing and will automatically renew at the end of the plan’s billing cycle. You may cancel the Recurring Payment at any time by clicking the Cancel button in the Subscription section in “My panel”. Your subscription will be valid till the end of the current billing cycle and you will no longer be charged.


I forgot to cancel my subscription, will I get the refund?
Please note that AmeriLingua memberships automatically renew, and we are unable to offer refunds for the current billing period as the payment covers the full duration. Subscribers are free to cancel at any time and will continue to have access to our services until the end of their current billing cycle. To avoid charges for the next billing cycle, be sure to cancel before your renewal date. For detailed instructions on how to cancel, or if you require any assistance, our customer support team is readily available to help.

How can I request an invoice?
To receive an invoice go to the Subscription section in “My panel” and click “Download Invoice” under “Payments”. You may be asked to provide additional information needed to issue the invoice.

Questions about ESL Teacher subscription plan

How can I search for lesson plans?
You can start the search from the main page. You can filter lesson level and category. On the search results page, there will be more filter options in the sidebar to help you obtain more precise results.

Where are Audio and Video files?
Supportive Video or Audio files for lesson plans are in the middle of the relevant lesson plan web page.

How do I play Audio and Video files?
You can play Audio or Video files in your browser by clicking on the play button in the Audio/Video section of the lesson.

Who creates the material on your site?
The materials on AmeriLingua website are created by experienced ESL professionals. Each lesson is audited by a senior copy-editor and proofread by several experienced ESL teachers.

I would like to print out your worksheets to use in my class. Am I allowed to do this?
You can print out materials to use directly with your class. Your students are allowed to take these materials home and keep them for their private use. However, modification and further commercial use is not allowed. For more information regarding the use of the site and resources, please see our Terms and Conditions.

Can I use your resources in my online classes?
Yes, absolutely. If you are teaching English online, you may share our content with your students via Zoom, Skype or any other platform. For more information regarding the use of the site and resources, please see our Terms and Conditions.

How often are new lesson plans added?
We are currently focusing on growing our base of high quality lesson plans, so we try to add at least a few new lesson plans every week.

If I give my students access to AmeriLingua platform, will they see full lesson plans?

Students gain access the all the lessons, but they will not see lesson plans designed for teachers. Students, however, will gain access to the Workbook, which is always embedded in the Teacher’s lesson plan. Students will also see the Review and the Answer Key part.

Questions about ESL School subscription plan

How can I add teachers and students to my subscription plan?
You can add, delete and edit students and teachers after you log in to your account and click on  “School Teachers” section or “School Students” section in “My panel”. You can also remove active subscriptions from individual users and reassign them to new users at any time.

I run classroom lessons where there are up to 10 students in one group. Can I assign students into groups and assign a teacher to each group?
Yes, you can create as many groups as you wish and assign a teacher to each group. Please go to the section called “Groups” in “My panel”

What happens when the school reaches the license limit? How can we upgrade the subscription plan?
In order to upgrade your maximum user limit, please go to “Subscribption” section in “My Panel”. You will see the option to extand subscribtion time or change (increase) the number of users.

How do we add our school logo to your worksheets?
If you want your logo to be visible on all the worksheets, please contact our customer service by submitting a request to support@amerilingua.com. Please attach your logo in a high definition jpg format while sending the request.

Questions about ESL Learner subscription plan

How can I search for English lessons?
On the main page, you will be able to search as a learner by Category and English Level. On the search results page, there will be more filter options in the sidebar to help you obtain much more precise search results.

Will I be able to save and organize my favorite lessons?
You can create folders with the lessons you like the most and add notes to each favorite lesson. To add a lesson to your favorite folder, simply click on a star image next to the title of the lesson. You will be prompted to choose a folder for the lesson or add a new folder and then place the lesson into that folder.

If I subscribe to AmerLingua, will I have the same access rights as a teacher?
No, you will not be able to view teacher’s lesson plans or add fellow students to Amerlingua, however, you will have full access to the same lessons that the teacher has. You can view videos, listen to audios, complete all the lesson tasks and view the answer keys.
